Frequently Asked Questions
- How will my plant arrive?
Our number one priority is that your plants arrive happy, and in healthy condition. Our plants will be shipped in their nursery pots and protected to the best of our ability. Your plant will arrive wrapped in kraft paper. Please remove from this packaging immediately. To prevent the soil from falling out in transit, we've covered the soil in masking tape and a moist paper towel, please remove this as well and allow your soil to dry out before watering.
- Do I have to repot my plant immediately?
No. Before you repot your plant, let it acclimate to its new environment. Place the plant in the spot you plan to keep it in. Let it settle in for about two weeks.
After two weeks, your plant has adjusted and you can pot it into its planter, if you choose. But remember, this is optional: as long as your plant still has room to grow in its nursery grow pot, and looks happy and healthy, you don’t need to repot it! Just stick the nursery pot in a decorative planter and you're good to go.
- Why does my plant look different than the one on the website?
Live plants and pottery will have variations in color, texture, finish, and size. While we make every effort to display our plants as accurately as possible, there may be subtle differences from what is displayed online.
- My order arrived damaged, what should I do?
Every plant is fragile and the shipping process is not always kind (or easy). Most of the time we get it right, but sometimes we don’t. When that happens, we fix it – be it a damaged plant or pot due to shipping carrier mishandling. Please inspect your package when you receive your delivery. Should your order arrive damaged, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org (make sure to include a photo) and we’ll get back to you in two to three business days.
